After meeting Jason through a mutual business partner, Courtney helped form The Jason Mitchell Group in 2012. Since it's inception, they shared a mutual vision - to create an environment that allows for growth and success by bringing the best systems and people to the team.

Courtney is very hands on with every client and enjoys meeting new people. Along with helping out with transactions, she also assists with marketing efforts and managing The Jason Mitchell Group office. Her main focus has been to provide a culture like no other in the industry.

In her free time, you can find her doing just about anything outdoors. Her greatest accomplishment to date is her daughter. They enjoy almost every sport, going to church and taking day trips or San Diego trips throughout the year.

As the Vice President of Sales for The Jason Mitchell Group, Leon Gavartin leads one of the Top 25 Real Estate Teams in the United States. During the past decade, he has been responsible for and involved with over $800 million in residential real estate sales amongst him and his team, earning him accolades including Top Producer and Salesperson of the Year for 2017.

Leon is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of real estate experience and 30 years experience in business operations, product and market development, marketing, management and sales. He is a graduate of Northwood University with a double major in Management and Marketing and has held various positions including CEO, President and COO for various companies domestically as well as internationally.

Leon genuinely enjoys providing guidance and service to his clients as well as assisting his team of agents in progressing their careers. With his vast real estate and business knowledge as well as his ability to navigate challenging transactions, Leon is an invaluable asset to his entire team.

In his personal time, he enjoys being with his two kids, Ben and Shayna, exercising, practicing yoga, traveling, as well as eating and having fun! Leon also serves on the Board of Trustees for Temple Solel, where he heads the Safety and Security Committee. Leon was born in Riga, Latvia and speaks Russian fluently.

Cheryl has been working with The Jason Mitchell Group since 2014 and has an impressive 27 years of experience in the real estate industry. As the Transaction Processing Manager, she works diligently to keep files in order and ensure all broker files are complete, up-to-date and in compliance with Arizona state regulations.

Originally from Western Nebraska, Cheryl attended Chadron State College and spent many years in Southern California in an administrative role at a private elementary school. She moved to Arizona in 1991 where her career in real estate began.

As a parent to three children, she spent many years managing her daughter's soccer teams. Spending time with family and friends is a top priority for Cheryl. She is a die-hard Denver Broncos fan and in her spare time enjoys constructing puzzles and working in the yard.

She is currently Team Captain of the Inside Sales team. Since 2014, Claire has closed over $50 million in real estate sales and 198 transactions.

With her years of experience, Claire has dedicated herself to her customers and their needs. From one end of real estate spectrum to the other; knowing the ins and outs of the residential real estate market place. She is a savvy real estate professional who utilizes traditional marketing with new and innovative methods to assist her customers as they buy or sell a home.

Tom Mitchell born and raised in Detroit, MI. His main focus is making sure our clients are having a great experience while in the process with our team. Working as a Team leader in communications since 2016 in the mortgage industry, he has now taken on the role of being our Communications Director, Providing our clients with a very efficient and stress-free home buying experience. Tom is really known for his drive and finding ways to make our clients experience the best it can be. When Tom does have free time, you can find him on the water, playing hockey, or traveling.

Originally a native to the Lakes Area of Minnesota, Sallie Bellefeuille decided to swap out the enduring cold winters for the beautiful landscape of sunny Arizona like many other Midwestern transplants. Graduating magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology is a testament to her perseverance, drive and attention to detail. With a background also as a yoga instructor and experience in the hospitality industry she aims to bring ease, inspiration and joy to her work and has enjoyed helping home-buyers and sellers upon entering the Real Estate industry in 2017. She joined the Jason Mitchell Group as Communications Director where she provides top-notch service to clients through her ability to create and maintain strong working relationships, combined with exceptional customer service skills engaging with clients, partners and agents in the field. In her free time she enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, traveling and exploring new places, experiencing live music and spending time with close friends and family.



Terra grew up in Southern California and moved to Phoenix in 1991. She started her career in real estate in 1994 working for Realty Executives International where she wore many hats from Assisting the Referral Director to becoming the Vendor Coordinator, Franchise Training Coordinator and Assistant to the Meetings & Conventions Manager where she helped coordinate the annual conventions and broker owner meetings. In 1999, she decided to pursue a career in Real Estate on the agent level and held her AZ Real Estate Salesperson licence from 2000-2010.

In the last 9 years, she has been enjoying spending time with her three AWESOME children. In her spare time, she loves watching college football (GO IRISH!), playing sports (soccer, softball, volleyball) and hanging out with my family and friends. She hopes to bring some of her experiences and expertise to The Jason Mitchell Group and help herself as well as the group continue to grow and become internationally successful!

First, a little background on me and my passion for real estate. I was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am a Cactus Shadows High School Alumni. (Go Falcons!) My father has been a developer in the Valley for over 40 years and I spent many days touring homes in all the different stages of construction. Big homes, small homes, luxury custom homes, you name it! I am fortunate to have experienced the incredible heart that goes into the details of a new build. That was where I fell in love with the housing industry. I was a Leadership in International Management Major at ASU and built a thriving career in the beauty industry which I left behind to enjoy the exuberant pace of a career in real estate . Originally from Ohio, Michael moved to the Valley in 2004 where he lived in Peoria for a decade. He was able to leave his corporate job in 2015 to make the leap into the real estate industry. Michael is a full time agent who always puts his client's interests first whether they come to him as a first time home buyer/seller or someone already familiar with the process.

Michael has sold properties in all areas of the Valley from Buckeye to San Tan Valley while residing with his wife and 2 yr old daughter in Chandler. The satisfaction of seeing clients succeed in becoming homeowners is what drives his passion in this industry. Originally from Utah and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Matthew moved to the Valley in 2002. His passion for real estate and residential construction is a natural fit, having many family members involved in the industry and working alongside his father building houses when Matthew was growing up. After running a successful concrete company for 7 years as part of the family business, Matthew earned his real estate license in 2007 and started selling full-time in 2016.

Those who have an opportunity to work with Matthew quickly learn his motivation is driven by a genuine desire to ensure the absolute satisfaction of each client. Nothing is more fulfilling to him than a job well done. He takes great pride in performing his duties with a solid work ethic, integrity and professionalism.

Originally from Massachusetts, Thomas moved to Arizona in 2007 to attend Arizona State University where he majored in Business Communication with a minored in Marketing at the W. P. Carey School of Business. He graduated from ASU and found a position working with the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. In January of 2015, he made the leap into a career in Real Estate. Thomas loves to help first time home buyers and finds great satisfaction when he is able to make his clients dream of owning real estate a reality. He is great at building relationships with his clients and is always looking out for their best interests by putting them first. He is very creative and often thinks outside the box when it comes to marketing or when his negotiation skills need to come into play. He lives in Tempe, but his central location allows him to work all across the Valley. He is a student of his profession and is always eager to learn more.

In his spare time, Thomas loves to follow Boston sports teams such as the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. Jonathan was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He frequently visited Arizona to escape the cold, and eventually decided to make it his permanent home in 2000. He currently lives in south Scottsdale with his wife and daughter. When he isn't busy selling real estate, he enjoys looking at model homes with his family, biking, being outdoors, playing ice hockey and doing CrossFit.

Jennifer Slack is a fourth generation Arizona native from Tucson. She received bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northern Arizona University and her master’s degree from University of Arizona. Tony is an Arizona native and has been a licensed real estate agent for 21 years, beginning his career at CB Richard Ellis in 1996 where he eventually became senior managing partner of CBRE Site Acquisition Team representing the lease negotiations and project implementation division. In addition, Tony is NFSTI (National Foreclosure Sales and Training Institute) REO certified and has experience in negotiating commercial bank assets and non-performing notes. One of his strengths is his ability to recognize and capitalize on market trends. He also has extensive knowledge of marketing and sales disciplines encompassing strategic planning, pricing and market research.
